MovieKingdom is an entertainment platform developed by Crazi Co for MovieKingdom Pictures Inc., a film and video production company committed to delivering diverse cinematic content. The platform includes a Roku Channel designed to offer free Black cinema and a Video-on-Demand (VOD) app for Black Movie Max. Users can enjoy a rich selection of movies and TV shows with ad-supported streaming options, optimizing the viewing experience through strategically placed ad breaks. This project aimed to provide an accessible and enriching entertainment experience tailored to audiences interested in Black cinema. Scope of Work

MovieKingdom Pictures Inc. aimed to launch a new entertainment platform focused on black cinema, involving the creation of a linear channel and a Video-on-Demand (VOD) app. The key challenges were developing this platform on the OTTera and muvi platforms, respectively, while ensuring optimized monetization through the implementation of pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll ad placements. The scope of work necessitated the replacement of the existing Movie Kingdom with a more robust Free Black Cinema channel on Roku. Additionally, the project required enhancing the overall user experience by integrating efficient functionalities and workflows to ensure a seamless viewing experience. MovieKingdom Pictures sought to effectively monetize the content while providing an exceptional entertainment platform, with high-quality streaming options available on multiple devices.

Crazi Co provided MovieKingdom Pictures Inc. with a powerful entertainment solution, featuring the development of multiple channels and apps tailored to their needs. Leading with the creation of the Black Movie Max linear channel on the OTTera platform, and staffing the muvi platform for the VOD app, Crazi Co enriched the customer offering with distinct channels designed for specific audience demographics. A key part of the project was developing a Roku channel complete with comprehensive functionality for seamless streaming. Crazi Co also executed programming using Vimeo showcase and VAST code, facilitating the efficient delivery of ad content. Additionally, by replicating the Free Black Cinema and Black Movie Max channels on YouTube, the solution ensured a wider reach for audiences. Through this strategic development, Crazi Co provided a solution that extended and diversified MovieKingdom Pictures Inc.'s media presence, optimizing viewing experiences with a structured platform.
